The memorial hall is well equipped with a fully operational kitchen, space for up to 60 people, tables and plenty of chairs.

Welcome to Great Gonerby Memorial Hall

The Great Gonerby Memorial Hall offers a variety of facilities that can be used to make your event one to remember. Available to hire, we have a Function Room, and a Meeting Room, both of which have access to a beautiful kitchen area that is well equipped, with limited crockery and cutlery, that conforms to all health and safety standards. The Function Room (18 metres [20 yards] long by 8 metres [8.5 yards] wide) is suitable for a wide variety of uses, including private functions, parties, clubs, fitness groups, social gatherings, bring and buy sales, children's parties, and fundraising events. Please note we do not have a licence to sell alcohol and we do not accept teenage parties.

The Meeting Room (5 metres [5.6 yards] square) is suitable for meetings, and events that have an attendance of no more than 15 people. The Hall and Meeting Room together can provide 72 chairs, and 20 rectangular tables, each of which can seat six.

We have a large artificial 3G pitch (36m by 32m) with goals, marked out for 6 a-side soccer, and includes floodlights for use at night. It is available for hire for football parties and Club training nights. Contact Great Gonerby Post Office or Andy Mayer ( Changing rooms are also available upon request, but are subject to availability.

Any bouncy castle booked by the Hirer must be no more than 10 feet tall. Width is not a problem. Please check the castle specifications with your supplier.

Please also note that bringing fireworks into, or the ignition of fireworks in the Hall buildings or the recreation ground is expressly forbidden.  Smoke machines and BBQs may not be used in the Hall or surrounds. The deposit will NOT be refunded if this rule is broken.
